What asset escrow means for you
Cfx.re asset escrow is the official system that encrypts a resource's protected code so it cannot be copied and resold. In practice, the files you download are tied to the Cfx.re account that bought them, the server running them must use a license key from that account, and the author can mark some files, usually the config and locale files, as editable. It protects the creator. For you the main effect is that you cannot read the protected code, so it pays to buy from creators with a track record.
Refunds, chargebacks and your rights
Digital goods are delivered instantly, so refund rules differ from a physical shop. Because Tebex is the seller of record, refunds go through Tebex under the rules that apply in your country.
